Be A Volunteer Based on Your Interest

have fun spongebobEverybody has his/her own talents. The talents of everybody is different each other. There are people who have talent in arts, in singing, in dancing, in fixing something broken, in giving consolation. I can’t imagine how this life will if everybody has same interests, same skills, and same tastes. Life will be so boring, right?!

Everybody was born in different condition, many people born in wealthy family and many other lives in poverty. Many people born in healthy but many others have disease. The condition of everybody is various.

We are lucky that God give us the good life and can share to others people that need help. There is a social organization named Sing for Hope. Sing for Hope is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that mobilizes professional artists the volunteer comes from various people such as  from classical musicians, photographers to Broadway performers , etc. They become volunteers in service programs that benefit schools, hospitals, and communities.

Sing for Hope also has program hospital outreach where it gives consolation as the way in healing.  It has many facilities in healing art such as Bailey-Holt House, United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, and Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU Langone Medical Center, and some other places.

Based on the studies, it shows that with music will help the sick people in Reduce blood pressure and heart and respiration rates, Decrease pain perception and levels of fear, stress and anxiety, Increase feelings of self-worth and overall well-being, etc.

This is good program and it is really helpful for others people. Thus why don’t you join with Sing for Hope and use your talent to give consolation to others?
